A partner of mass distribution for nearly 30 years, the Lyon-based company Dune manufactures bread-wrapping machines and associated packaging. To join the dynamics of brands aiming to reduce their plastic consumption, the SME has developed the Cérès packaging machine which wraps all types of pastries in a pack containing 97% less plastic than the usual “crystal” box. “The bag offers full visibility of the product because we are on impulse purchases, we eat first with our eyes, explains Hervé Duffner, CEO of Dune.
